I really enjoy this game myself and the impact it has on groups. It shows people how to listen with their bodies and to widen their awareness. It’s particularly valuable when exploring the group field and how we are all interconnected.

Attuned Movement
Setup: moving through the room, music
Time: 10-15 minutes
Directions
Pair participants up, either at random or by having people choose a partner.
Both partners are moving with their own movement through the room while keeping awareness on their partner. Each pair iterates between moving and coming to a halt together. The halting is a shared effort to halt simultaneously and then also to start moving together at the same time. Each couple can play with different distances between them in the room.
After a while, each couple finds another couple and then repeats the practice in the group of four then. After another while, groups merge again until at some point everyone is in the same group and synchronises the halting and moving. Everyone can still move in their own style.
You can invite people to reflect on how their awareness of the room and the group changed during this exercise. This expercise introduces attunement and how we can attune to others. It also makes people play with difference/sameness in an embodied way. Starting from being in sameness with one person and ending up as part of one big moving body. A murmuration.
