Circling & Surrendered Leadership Weekend: Berlin

October 17-19 in Berlin

In Circling & Surrendered Leadership, we examine the nature of interconnectivity and explore our perception of reality from moment to moment. It is a practice of listening to the emergence of life and responding to it from the state of surrender. Join us for a weekend journey into deep presence, authentic relating, and embodied living.

About the experience
In the Circling practice, we bring meditative awareness to what’s happening in the moment within us and between us. When we slow down, focus, and reveal what’s going on between us here and now, we create space for deeper meetings with the people around and more in-depth intimacy with ourselves.

What develops can contain the full spectrum of human experience, stretching from emotional revelations, spiritual insights, sensory receptivity, meditative silence, and expressions of aliveness.

Join if you wish for:
– learning about your relational patterns
– connecting with expanded awareness and deep presence
– practicing self-leadership and maturity of relating to reality and others
– exploring states of surrender to the emergent nature of reality
– refining connection to the body and following its impulses

This event is suited for people trying Circling (Transformational Connection) & Surrendered Leadership for the first time, and any experienced participant. If you have any questions about the weekend or want to try the practice, you are welcome to join Mateusz for a 30-minute online intro call. More info on the website.

What is Circling, Transformational Connection (TC) and Surrendered Leadership (SL)?

Circling / Transformational Connection (TC) is about bringing our presence, aliveness, and vulnerability into connection with one or more people or a whole group. Through the practice, we develop sensitivity, the skills to communicate our internal states effectively, needs and boundaries to the world, and the capacity to regulate and lead ourselves in connection with others and high-intensity situations.

Surrendered Leadership (SL) involves following the immediacy of relational flow that emerges within a group. It is a paradigm of leadership that transcends the presumption that a leader’s role is to have a predetermined direction or to know what will happen. Instead, we focus on developing and refining the capacity to attune to what is already happening and explore it with presence to open to the organic, co-created, and emergent developmental potential.

The practice is best explored by experiencing it. You do not need to understand what TC or SL is before you attend. At the same time, you are welcome to look up the resources on the website (Documentary, 5 Principles) if you wish to prepare yourself more before the endeavor.

What will happen?

The core practices we will introduce and explore are Transformational Connection and Surrendered Leadership, practiced in the lineage of the Transformational Connection organization.

We will introduce a variety of exercises that can support grounding in the practice, getting to know its philosophy and atmosphere. These exercises will often happen in pairs or small groups. We will learn by doing, and create spaces of sense-making and debriefing.’

The good share of the weekend we will spend in the most open form of the practice called Surrendered Leadership, or Flow. This is when we come as a group and explore the emergence of the present moment from the place of surrender. It appears to be a deeply touching, potent, and transformative approach that invites us to embrace more complexities, outgrow our own habituated ways of being, and face our limitations.

    Magdalena Tran

I’m trained by Circling Europe (currently Transformational Connection) leading spaces where we meet truth. My passion lies in revealing what’s real, the raw, unfiltered – using the body as a gateway. Through daily meditation and tantric practices since 2019, I’ve learned that every moment is truth trying to emerge and when we let it… love follows.

Testimonials

“The rawness of this wave of honesty! And the intensity of it. And the ‘being present’ with all there is. Wow. I am blown away! And deeply humbled! Such an undemanding state of ‘doing’! And yet, it is so lacking in the everyday. “

“I am deeply grateful for learning the Circling [Transformational Connection] technique at this event. Just two days later, I can already feel it transforming how I interact with others in everyday life.”

“Mateusz is an expert facilitator, a deep and clear presence to guide the room and the flow. Looking forward to next time!”

”Mateusz is a grounded and skilled spaceholder, creating a safe space and guiding everybody into a deeper connection with themselves and their body. He has a great balance between seeing and supporting everybody’s needs individually and at the same time taking care of the entire group.
