Innocence
Circling & Surrendered Leadership weekend Copenhagen
Vision
“Listening for love” has become a bigger aspect of the Circling & Surrendered Leadership practice for us. It implies listening for the innocence that is behind the words that are being spoken, hearing the deep need for love and connection that are always there, even when what is expressed is anger or resentment.
It seems true that what we long for the most, and are simultaneously the most scared of, is to be met in our innocence. Often this implies showing up in something that we see as wrong – the parts of us that we have left behind, because they weren’t welcomed when we were young.
Some of the themes that will likely come up this weekend are:
– Getting in touch with parts of yourself that feel wrong, inappropriate or harmful.
– Trusting and moving with innocence.
– Listening for the needs in what is being spoken
– Seeing others in their imperfect perfection.
We will as always be training the muscles of:
– Staying connected to your present moment experience.
– Allowing yourself to be impacted by others and sharing that impact.
– Generously sharing yourself in service of connection.
– Deeply listening to the experience of others.
– Meeting others from a place of love.
– Bringing presence and truth into connection without being attached to the outcome.
What are relational presencing practices
With relational presencing practices we are pointing to practices and leadership approaches such as Circling, Relatefulness and Transformational Connection. These practices are great for getting more in touch with our present moment experience together with someone else. It typically involves sharing our thoughts, feelings or bodily sensations as they are happening and then seeing how it impacts the people around us.
What is Surrendered Leadership?
One way of understanding Surrendered Leadership is that it is an opportunity to see your own Karma in action. You get to see how the way you are holding yourself in the world impacts others and thus feeds back to become your experience of the world. More concretely Surrendered Leadership is a group practice where you are invited to surrender/welcome whatever is happening for you in the moment and lead yourself from there.
What is embodiment?
Embodiment points to actually being there, in your body, taking up as much space as you do with whatever is going on for you. The path to more embodiment typically is a process of discovery where we start noticing all the ways in which we are holding ourselves back, suppressing emotions or not trusting that we are welcome.
What to expect
Introduction: February 6th, 18.00-21.00
If you want a short taster or feel uncertain if this weekend is for you, please come to our intro night where we will create a gentle landing pad for working with resonance.
Immersion: February 8-9th, 10.00-18.00
At the immersion we go deeper into exploring the theme of innocence through various exercises and through surrendered leadership practice.
Price and payment info
The suggested price for the intro evening is 20-30 euro.
If you only want to participate in the introduction evening or want to check out what this is, before signing up to the full weekend, this is for you.
The suggested price for the event is 300 euro (including the intro evening).
We hold an intention of wanting everyone to be able to participate, regardless of income situation. If you find that the regular price is too high for you, you can choose a price that feels honoring of the work while possible for you to pay. If on the other hand, the suggested price feels very cheap (if you are thinking that this event can’t be high quality, because of the price, this is for you), we would appreciate it if you would pay a bit more. This will also help us support those, who are not able to pay the suggested price.

Mareike ChristensenI am a trained integral psychotherapist and offer conflict mediation and coaching and lead embodied and relational presencing workshops. In my workshops which I have led since 2020 people often feel both confronted and called by my truthfulness and deep attunement. I trust deeply in my experience and like to follow a sense of aliveness into the unknown.

I’ve been at two Weekends of Circling with Peter and found them to be perfectly challenging and wonderfully inspiring. Peter combines a sensitive empathy with a direct honesty that opens a safe and exciting space for exploring. I’m very grateful for my experiences and would recommend Peter and his approach to Circling to anyone who is interested in exploring themselves and how they show up with others.

Mareike’s workshop has probably been the most important investment in my personal growth and self-acceptance for ages. The workshop creates a perfect space, where you are motivated to be brave enough to face and explore your own emotions and boundaries.

What I really like about Mareike’s workshop is the slowness. A well designed and well conducted journey back to me. What I bring with me from this workshop is a more intimate relationship with myself.
