Nära Summer Festival 2026

Be more you. In connection with others.

Nära Summer Festival — 5th anniversary. Five days of relational practices, embodiment and conscious dance just outside Malmö, Sweden. Three workshop days (Wed–Fri), a full co-created celebration Saturday, and a grounding integration day Sunday. 20+ workshops. All-inclusive.

Vision

From the very start, Nära has been about supporting people to grow more of who they already are. To meet yourself and others at greater depth. And to bring that into your life and into the world.

This summer we celebrate our 5th anniversary — and we’ve cherry-picked the best from previous years: quality workshops led by experienced facilitators, co-created celebration that emerges from what we all bring, and more space for landing in connection together.

Not a festival to escape from the world. But to step into it.

The theme: Be more you. Bring yourself more. Into connection with others. And into the world.

Nära Summer Festival

What to expect

Five days at a beautiful conference venue in Sunnanå, just outside Malmö — with workshop rooms, a main hall with garden views, outdoor lawn, and a sauna.

The arc of the week:

Wednesday — Arrive from noon. Opening ceremony at 4 PM to set the space and meet the community.

Thursday & Friday — Workshop days. Choose from 20+ sessions in relational presence, embodiment practices, authentic relating, sound journeys and deep dance. Go at your own pace.

Saturday — Co-created celebration. A full day and evening shaped by everyone present. Space to follow your connections, dive deeper, and play.

Sunday — Integration and harvest. A facilitated closing space for grounding and landing before we say goodbye. Check-out by 4 PM.

The practices at the core:

Embodiment — embracing the body as the foundation of who we are, through dance, somatic practices and relational movement.

Authentic Relating — creative and heartful ways of exploring communication and connection beyond social masks.

Relational Presencing — an organic practice of bringing yourself more fully into contact with others, focused on self-leadership, deep listening and openness to impact.

Your hosts and lead facilitators are Fredrik Gynnhammar and Michaela Nielsen. Their paths first crossed in 2016, when Michaela was organising the Danish Authentic Relating Festivals and Fredrik showed up for his first one. This year they’re bringing the Danish and Swedish communities together for Nära’s 5th edition.

Joining them as facilitators: Benjamin Raki, Elin Gabriella, Daniel Kaplan, Ida Helmers, Sujan Varma.

All tickets include: 20+ workshops, accommodation (twin room, dormitory or tent/camper), 3 vegetarian/vegan meals per day, sauna, morning practices, and the co-created celebration day.

The festival is alcohol and substance free.
