Transformational Connection & Surrendered Leadership Weekend Aarhus

May 30 – June 1,  2025

In Transformational Connection (Circling) we bring meditative acceptance and awareness to what’s happening in the moment in us and between us. We invite you for the 2.5-day journey into deep presence, exploration of authenticity in relationships, and embodiment.

What to expect?

We research what interconnectivity is and explore our perception of reality from moment to moment. What develops can contain the full spectrum of human experience, stretching from emotional revelations, spiritual insights, sensory receptivity, meditative silence and real expressions of aliveness in movement.

When we slow down, focus, and reveal what’s going on between us here and now, we create space for deeper meetings with the people around us and deeper intimacy with ourselves.

Who is it for?

Do you have a longing to slow down, rest in the presence of a group, and be received just as you are? Would you like to practice exploring other people’s realities with openness and acceptance? Do you wonder what it is like to express yourself with fewer expectations and judgments? If so, this practice can be for you.

Join if you wish for:
learning about your relational patterns
connect with expanded awareness and deep presence
practice self-leadership and maturity of relating to reality and others
refine connection to the body and follow its impulses

This event is suited for people trying Transformational Connection & Surrendered Leadership for the first time and any experienced participant.

If you have any questions about the weekend or want to try Transformational Connection:

SOME WORDS FROM previous PARTICIPANTS

”Mateusz is a grounded and skilled spaceholder, creating a safe space and guiding everybody into a deeper connection with themselves and their body. He has a great balance between seeing and supporting everybody’s needs individually and at the same time taking care of the entire group. The breathwork sessions are a powerful practice where you can get deeper into your emotions and patterns, feeling safe and held.”

“I am deeply grateful for learning the circling [Transformational Connection] technique at this event. Just two days later, I can already feel it transforming how I interact with others in everyday life.”

The rawness of this wave of honesty! And the intensity of it. And the ‘being present’ with all there is. Wow. I am blown away! And deeply humbled! Such an undemanding state of ‘doing’! And yet, it is so lacking in the everyday.

What is Transformational Connection (TC) and Surrendered Leadership (SL)?

Transformational Connection (TC) is about bringing our presence, aliveness, and vulnerability into connection with one or more people or a whole group. Through the practice, we develop sensitivity, the skills to communicate our internal states effectively, needs and boundaries to the world, and the capacity to regulate and lead ourselves in connection with others and high-intensity situations.

Surrendered Leadership (SL) involves following the immediacy of relational flow that emerges within a group. It is a paradigm of leadership that transcends the presumption that a leader’s role is to impose a certain direction or structure. Instead, we focus on developing and refining the capacity to attune to what is already happening and explore it with presence to open up organic and deep developmental potential.

The practice is best explored by experiencing it. You do not need to understand what TC or SL is when you attend, in fact it might even be more powerful when you do not understand it yet. Stepping into the group might mean leaving our need to understand everything behind and finding trust in what is beyond knowing.

What will happen?

The core practices we will introduce and explore is Transformational Connection and Surrendered Leadership, practiced in the lineage of the Transformational Connection organization. To read more about these approaches look at the section above.

We will introduce a variety of exercises that can support grounding in the practice, getting to know its philosophy and atmosphere. These exercises will often happen in pairs or small groups. We will learn by doing, and create spaces of sense-making and debriefing.

The good share of the weekend we will spend in the most open form of the practice called Surrendered Leadership, or Flow. This is when we come as a group and explore the emergence of the present moment from the place of surrender. It appears to be a deeply touching, potent, and transformative approach that invites us to embrace more complexities, outgrow our own habituated ways of being, and face our own limitations.

During the weekend we will support embodied expression by incorporating elements of non-verbal circling, conscious movement, and meditation.
